GlenWild is all about education and exploring our magnificent local environment, sharing infomation, photographic brochures of over 100 bird species, mammal, reptiles, amphibians and endangered animals. Collecting data (ie time of year, when a bird is seen or photographed), beautiful Calander, fun wildlife Games. All GlenWild documents are created by local wildlife enthusiasts, volunteering their skills and time to share Glenwood Qld wonderful natural habitats.

GlenWild took part in the Great Glossy Count a citizen science event aimed at conserving the South-eastern Glossy Black-Cockatoo, a threatened bird in Australia. South-eastern Queensland Glossy count event date was 16-17 of May, 2026. With great excitement a glossy was found, and Wayne Reinke was able to take some amazing photos. Glenwood QLD is located betwen Fraser Coast Regional Council and Gympie Council, both regions host a range of Flora and Fauna EVENTS, including: workshops on how to care for wildlife and native plants to grow for wildife in your backyard.
